West Mead 1 and Meadville Ambulance were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with injuries just before 7:00 PM at the intersection of Williamson Road and Lamont Drive. West Mead 1 responded 28-12 and 28-13 to the accident. Once on scene West Mead 1 and Meadville Ambulance evaluated a total of 6 patients. West Mead 1 firefighters also managed fluid leaks and directed traffic around the accident scene. As a result of the accident, one vehicle came to rest in Meadville Central’s response area, and Meadville Central responded to the scene to assist with patient assessments and the investigation. Units operated on scene for nearly an hour prior to returning to quarters.
