Several members met Saturday morning to begin the operator certification process with West Mead 1. These members have completed a 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Course and are now ready for more behind-the-wheel training on our apparatus. Many of these same members operated on a multi-alarm commercial fire and returned home around 3 AM after cleaning equipment.
While the fire apparatus is the most visible resource of our organization, our members are without a doubt the most valuable.
