This past Tuesday West Mead 1 joined forces with West Mead 2 and Suit Kote Corporation for weekly training. Crews arrived at Suit Kote’s facility to a scenario involving simulated workers suspended in fall arrest harnesses from the top of bulk storage tanks. Crews worked on establishing command, planning, and resolving each scenario using a line system and ground ladder or an aerial device. Crews then returned the simulated workers to the fall arrest harness and allowed newer members opportunities to develop skills and build confidence.
