Bell tones also marked the start of shifts and announced fire responses. During funeral rites, bells toll to mark the final shift of a firefighter who has passed away. Bells on modern fire engines are a tribute to that tradition.

Ticket numbers are randomly generated and emailed instantly.

Names and numbers are posted when all tickets sell; the date of the drawing will also be announced, to be broadcast on Facebook Live.

If sales slow or stop, West Mead 1 may cancel the raffle and refund all sales.

All proceeds benefit West Mead firefighters.

Must be 18+ to purchase.

Winner will be contacted for pickup at a West Mead fire station, either on Liberty Street Extension or Ryan Road in Meadville, or at Tamarack Armory on Franklin Pike. The winner(s) may request that the prize be mailed to his or her location in the continental US at no additional cost.

If prize is not claimed after 30 days, the prize becomes property of West Mead District #1 Vol. Fire Company.
